All about Eve nu e numai un parfm de la Joop, e un film din 1950, cu Bette Davis (si o aparitie scurta a lui MMonroe), depre ascensiunea parsiva a unei necunoscute in lumea teatrului, emuland si sabotand o vedeta consacrata. Seductia scenei si forta narcotica si adictiva a aplauzelor le simtim si noi insa de aici pana la josnicia furtului e drum lung.
Filmul merita si pentru muzica, glam si replicile inteligente.
Si, extrem de actuala reflectie asupra sexului carierei:
Funny business, a woman's career - the things you drop on your way up the ladder so you can move faster. You forget you'll need them again when you get back to being a woman.
